You will serve as the first point of contact for customers. Delivering exceptional service, turning inquiries into orders, and supporting the sales team in achieving sales and service goals. You'll prosper in a target-driven but supportive environment focused on sustainable, premium Composite building-materials solutions.
Duties & responsibilities
- Cold Calling & Lead Generation: Proactively contact potential clients to introduce Timmdek’s product range and generate sales leads.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with new and existing clients through excellent service and follow-up.
- Needs Analysis: Understand customers’ requirements and provide product recommendations and solutions that best suit their needs.
- Quoting & Sales: Compile accurate quotes, explain product features and benefits, and close sales efficiently.
- Product Knowledge: Stay up to date with product specifications, updates, and new offerings to confidently assist customers. Answering Inquiries: Handle phone, email, and walk-in queries, providing professional and friendly assistance.
- Demonstration: Explain and demonstrate how products work and how they will meet the customer’s project requirements.
- CRM & Database Management: Create and maintain a detailed database of clients, leads, and sales activity.
- Sales Tracking: Monitor and report on weekly and monthly sales performance, conversion rates, and key metrics.
- Collaboration: Work closely with warehouse, external sales reps, and management to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.
Experience
- At least 1–2 years of experience in internal sales, preferably with building materials, construction, or hardware retail.
- Confident communicator with strong listening, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organisational skills, ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literate—proficient with MS Office and CRM.
- Customer‑centric mindset with proactive problem-solving and complaint resolution.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle. (Preferred)
