
Store Attendant
Description
Job Purpose
To load, offload, stack materials, assist the storekeeper, receive and issue materials and engage in general housekeeping for the Stores Branch.
Key Responsibility Areas
• Meassure, weigh and cut materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Binning materials from receiving section, direct deliveries and credit returns by checking quantity, description and code against receiving report.
• Load, offload and stack materials and equipment in accordance with good storekeeping and safety practices.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
