Job Purpose:
Performs tasks/activities associated with transportation of material/equipment and personnel to/from work sites and operate heavy mechanical plant and/or specialised vehicles during maintenance activities.

Essential Requirements:
Grade 10 or equivalent.
Valid motor vehicle driving license (Code EC1).
Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP).
Valid certification of competency in the operation of heavy-duty plant and vehicles, the operation of hydraulics vehicles mounted cranes, towing of trailers and securing of loads as per the Machinery Regulations within 3 months from the date of assumption of duties.
2 years relevant experience in driving and operating of heavy-duty plant and vehicles, the operation of hydraulics vehicles mounted cranes, towing of trailers and securing of loads.
